Dream Ticket? Impossible says Nancy Pelosi

By Leonard Doyle

For those wishful thinking Democrats who naively believe a Clinton-Obama ticket might come to pass, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of California has the following home truths: "I think that ticket either way is impossible."

She then tartly reminded viewers Hillary's gang has already said that while the Republican candidate John McCain is ready to be commander-in-chief, Obama is not. That's why the "dream ticket" is just that, a dream.

Pelosi will chair the Democratic National Convention in Denver and while she says she is "uncommitted", her reference to the "Clinton Administration" in this video indicates that these powerful women may not see eye to eye on many things.

Pelosi is right on! How can Hillary support Obama after basing her entire campaign strategy against his ability to lead the country? And for Obama to run Hillary as VP? Certainly Pelosi isn't thinking this, but the notion of Hillary's self-serving strategy "at all cost" to ensure her Presidency is seriously daunting. (insert theme for Dead Presidents)

Good for Nancy Pelosi - at least someone is being logical. Hillary has shot herself in the leg - by discrediting Barack she cannot turn around and suggest to voters that she might consider sharing the ticket with him! It is clear to all that she is contually posturing - pandering, doing whatever it takes to gain a few votes.

But judging from last night, those votes will soon turn to a trickle. Despite all the name recognition in the world, people are turning away from her, because of her unscrupulous ways which DO NOT qualify her to be the leader of any country.
