Hillary’s 3am phone call ad may be the most effective thing her strategist Mark Penn has done in the entire campaign. But it turns out that that scene with the sleeping children is eight-year-old stock footage. The lovely blond child sleeping peacefully in the ad is now 17 and she’s a militant Obama supporter.
Here's Dick Morris's Suggestion for a fightback ad from Obama:
"The next time Hillary uses the recycled red phone ad, counter with one of your own. When the phone rings in the middle of the night, have a woman’s voice, with a flat Midwestern accent, answer it and say, 'Hold on' into the receiver. Then she should shout, 'Bill! It’s for you!'"
Because with Hillary’s complete lack of any meaningful experience in foreign affairs, and her lack of the 'testing' that she boldly claims, she’ll be yelling for Bill."

The red phone ad has been used before, so the idea that Mark Penn created something original is as absurd as the "praise" he got for the Tony Blair slogan "Forward, Not Back," which, as the Independent reported (link follows) was something Penn stole from The Simpsons. The guy is a fraud.

It's good. But I think Larry David has to take the prize for best response ad idea -
