Patricia: Do you have any proof of these 'lies' you say Obama is to have fabricated or are you simply trying to defend Hillary's behaviour by saying 'Well Obama will probably have lied too about someting or other' What kind of argument is that?

If you don't thing B.O. has fabricated lies concerning his relationship with his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and whether he actually knew what agenda was being preached, you're fooling yourselves. If you don't think the Republicans are salivating on the prospect of tearing him apart for it, you're naive.

People seem to think that a politician and lying come hand in hand. Sadly nowadays due to historical patterns it has become much more of a norm. This does not make it in the slightest bit okay. I understand it is not so black and white, but Mrs Clinton is lying to the public now, one must surely question if she comes into power what else will she possibly lie about?
It's about time the people had a leader who didn't fabricate events or focus their campaign on slurring another individual. Some may argue it is politics, but it just shows such a lack of integrity and honour.
There is no excuse for such a lie, and it is disappointing coming from someone who allegedly has the pontential to be leader.

I had a relative who returned home at the end of WWII with hair-raising tales of facing the enemy. It later turned out that he had not got close to the action at any time and had been behind the lines with the Pay Corps. He became a joke with the family and his former friends. I wonder if HRC's Bosnian experiences will lead to her being pilloried by the US electorate.

I'm sorry, when you are running for the Presidency of the United States you can't just fabricate stories to enhance public perception of yourself and then claim to have 'mispoken' when it is proven to have been complete and utter b*llsh*t.

Would that you'd have all of your faculties about you were you involved in the same intense, ongoing, sleep-depriving, mind-crunching, soul-wrenching primary for endless months! She's been on-call 24-7 for more than a year, straight! Give her a break! She has no cabinet with which to delegate duties, and she, a hundredfold more than Barack, has faced a firewall of intense, unparalleled media scrutiny from people like you! How about analyzing that?
If this is the most you can come up with, and believe me, we have heard it all regarding Hillary for such a long, long time, I'd say she's an absolute angel in comparison to centuries of scurrilous, lying, self-aggrandizing, self-absolving, cheating, war-mongering, greedy, murdering, raping, power-hungry presidents, rulers, masters, monarchs, prime-ministers, religious and military leaders the world has had the pleasure of experiencing, (all historically well-documented, by the way). This is to what she refers when she says we need a "sea-change." Get it?
Your psychiatric analyses stem from a particular, ego-centric point of view, don't they? Go figure.

I believe Hillary is telling "the truth" IN A SENSE about the sniper fire landing in that she believed what she was saying. The problem is with her Perception of Reality. The Bosnia claim was one of many examples of Hillary displaying False Memory Syndrome in which a person's mind makes up a story (AS OCCURS IN A DREAM) BECAUSE THE STORY SERVES SOME EMOTIONAL PURPOSE. (Dream theory holds that dreams are the mind's way of telling a story, in a symbolic form, about its strongest wishes.) Mental Health is most related to the ability to distinguish one's own wishes, fantasies, and dreams from reality.
Thus Hillary so desperately wishes to be a Hero and universally loved and admired (did you notice her smiling with pleasure as she related the sniper story?)that her mind invented a story to fit this wish. You may have also noticed that she readily abandoned her story when confronted with evidence to the contrary. Many false memories are far more dearly defended. You may have further noticed her apparent nonchalance about having had a public demonstration of a major malfunctioning of her brain. Strangely, I think this is one of the appeals of Hillary - she appears to be infinitely capable of altering troubling personal realities. Some people admire and envy this ability. It also makes her SEEM quite sincere at times and "Strong."
The presence of false memory syndrome would usually disqualify a person from leadership positions. I think Hillary's mind is actually dominated by false memories. For example she continually speaks as one abused continually by men (except her husband of course). She seems to be remembering countless examples from her experience of the tyranny of men. How many of these "memories" are false memories? How many were unconsciously created to attempt to deal with the humiliation inflicted by husband? The vast Right Wing Conspiracy? The great legislative accomplishments? The broken health care system she alone knows how to repair? The irrelevance, in her mind, of America's military?
What distinguishes Hillary supporters from those who despise her might be differing perceptions of the health of her mind, especially her immense capacity to distort reality to serve her goals of self aggrandizement.
