This is just the beginning. The stars and stripes fade while a fife and drum band plays and the narrator intones that "Barack Obama believes that those of us from small towns in the Midwest... get bitter and cling to guns and religion... He will compromise America's strength, mission and integrity." It's the latest Republican attack video which concludes by asking Obama to declare what his flag is. All this while the stars and stripes morph into a banner of surrender...

This video speaks as if there is any respect left for America. It speaks as if the country is united behind the Bush/Cheney scare stories. It pretends to seek strength through the same policies that have caused the country to be weaker than in recent memory, ie. with few allies & friends, in debt to the world to pay for an unjust and illconceived war and divided at home. If Obama is a risk, the only sure thing we know is that a continuation of the Republican agenda will guarantee us more misery.

Hillary is more ruthless. I don't care what the world says about us - we are the biggest, the best and we want someone with teeth to show. Hillary has shown that hell will freeze over before she admits defeat. Hillary is our girl. She's our Joan of Arc. She doesn't care who calls her names, she will get what she wants come hook or crook. What's so bad about that? We'll go get whatever we want, that's for sure. And yes, Virginia, the ends justifies the means.

"He will compromise America's strength, mission and integrity ..."
What's there left to compromise after 8 years of Bush-Cheney?

An ad designed to exploit the idiocy created by mainstream media in America.
