John McCain has been getting a free pass from the US media for years, so it good to see that some are now taking a closer look at him. As the Huffington Post writes: "The genius of McCain's myth-making is his perceived humility amid
perpetual defiance. Having been a rebel without cause, and often a
rebel without consequences."
