Still running for the White House Ralf Nader has been telling the Rocky Mountain News how Obama ignores poverty issues, tries to "talk white" and appeals to "white guilt". It's a breathtaking assault from the perennial thorn in the Democratic Party's side who helped ensure that Gore was defeated by Bush in the 2000 presidential election.
Here's the money quote:
"I mean, first of all, the number one thing that a black American politician aspiring to the presidency should be is to candidly describe the plight of the poor, especially in the inner cities and the rural areas, and have a very detailed platform about how the poor is going to be defended by the law, is going to be protected by the law, and is going to be liberated by the law. Haven't heard a thing."

i love nader. i think he is the only hope for this country
