Barack and Hillary met last week, but when will Bill - the man from Hope - have his first private chat with Obama, the man for Waikiki?
When will America's "First Black president" swallow his pride and endorse the first black candidate?
Like two Mafia bosses they have a lot to talk about and a sitdown must be the way forward. Bill could surely ease the way for Obama, telling him face to face about the mistakes he made when he was first elected to the White House.
But let's not hold our breath too long. Bill is feeling pretty bruised about the way things have gone. Here's his recent smackdown when he was asked on MTV why the man who ran on the promise of hope in 1992 dismisses it in 2008:
"A lot of young people here, you don't remember, you don't care, but there's a reason we teach history in these universities. It actually helps you to avoid making mistakes in the future."
