There's a rapidly growing new cottage industry in US politics: Sarah Palin impersonation. Earlier in the week I posted the much publicised and very funny Sarah Palin sketch by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live. An article in today's paper by Leonard Doyle looks at the ever expanding number of people taking a shot at Palin.
Here are a number of their efforts - some more successful than others - that have made it on to the web:
First off is the actress Gina Gershwin on the Funny Or Die website (which also gave us Paris Hilton's response to the McCain ad smear)...
Next up is Lisa Nova in her first major interview since Palin became the candidate:
Then there's Palin given a twist that would perhaps upset her Christain right base. (Is it it just me or does this impersonator look a bit like Rudy Guiliani in drag - minus the white hair?)
