McCain has rolled out a new ad attacking Obama for saying that US forces are "air-raiding villages and killing civilians" in Afghanistan. Which, as it happens, is part of a much longer sentence which suggests something quite different.

Ok, can somebody explain to me how McCain is a war hero? He was shot down in Vietnam because he disobeyed orders and was out of position. (Lack of judgement) While in captivity he was tortured and he made taped confessions so that they would stop the torture. (Lack of judgement) He claims to have felt bad because he was treated better than other prisoners. But how can that be true if he was tortured until he confessed? What could they possibly do to others that was worse than torture? Ok, maybe be was tortured and "sang like a bird" before they knew that his father was a high-ranking officer.
And maybe he was treated better, not just because of his father, but because he was the son of a high ranking officer who had "sung like a bird" under pressure and admitted to being a baby killer. How valuable is that as a propananda piece. They were using this tape and had no further need to mistreat him.
He tried to commit suicide. (It's in his book.)
And he has always been given credit for refusing to be released until the other prisoners were released. But maybe the real reason he didn't want to be released was because he was embarrassed by his behavior and wasn't ready to face his father. (In his book he tells how embarrassed he was that he had cracked under pressure and that he didn't want his father to know.)
Will somebody please explain to me how he's a war hero? How does this make him qualified to lead the USA?

Obama does not need to 'attack' when it has NBC, in general, and MSNBC Prime time doing it for him.
Why don't you bring up the close to $50,000 Obama has given Trinity United Church 5 years after(2006 - 2007) the notorious "God D@@@ America" sermon.
